*The Sanskrit term mudra means "gesture", "mark" or "seal". It refers to a symbolic hand gesture in Buddhism believed to influence the energetic flow in the body. In this mudra, the right hand is placed on top of the left hand with the palms facing up. Bhairava mudra is believed to bring harmony to the body’s energy flow during meditation and pranayama practice.
